This was the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Our villa was completely well stocked with so many extras, including an abundance of fruit to get us started, as well as other groceries. There was a wonderful assortment of shampoo and soaps as well. Upon our arrival, our host and his wife prepared an amazing home-cooked meal - such a treat after a day of travel. There are also so many other surprises that are noteworthy about this villa. We arrived at a house at night to see it decorated for Christmas, complete with a 10 ft. Christmas tree. So homey and so beautiful. And, there was also an assortment of homemade Christmas cookies on the table for our children. As far as the location - it is both quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Lots of hikes all around. Olive orchards surround the property. The night before we left, our host gave us parting gifts for each of us and cooked us an amazing barbeque dinner. I truly think there will be no other Airbnb experience that can top this one. Other Airbnb's should take note: Sifis gets 10 stars out of 5 for going above and beyond for us as his guests. He should do a masterclass for ALL other Airbnb's on how to host. I was truly blown away, as was the rest of our family. Don't bother staying anywhere else. Stay at Elina Villa. Truly, the most magical Christmas together in Greece we could ask for thanks to Sifis and his hospitality.

The most idyllic Villa in the foothills of an olive grove covered mountain. fantastic views and great location to explore the best beaches of Crete! The owners are fantastic and so kind. Came to see us in and wish us goodbye. Complete privacy whilst staying. Amazing pool - Remember to request for it to be heated a few days before your arrival in the colder months. would love to go back! thank you Maria and Sifis

Beautiful house, marvelous view, nice swimming pool, playground for children, good wines in the wine cave, every details are thought for the guest, very good house equipments, and incredible hospitality from Sifris and his wife Maria who prepared greek salad, cake, olive oil, raki, honey and a fantastic BBQ for our pleasure. Wonderful experience !

Warm and affectionate. These are the words describing not just Villa Elena, but also Sifis - the host. Named after his first daughter, the villa represents everything what Sifis is about. The carefully chosen interior combined with natural materials. creates a warm and lovely atmosphere. The villa is thought through till the smallest detail. We woke up to pittoresk sunrises and enjoyed every single day in this holiday paradise. The villa is perfectly equipped for seven people and surprised us with it‘s small extras and details (no spoiler here). The images in the gallery can’t visualize the beauty and the vibe of the villa. You have to find it out by yourself. Sifis is not just a host doing the minimum of what he has to do. He is a friend to us. He is well connected in crete and helped us solving any little problem we had. We left with a smile and a tear in our eyes and are sure to come back soon.

We have just returned from Maria & Sifi’s villa after 4 wonderful nights. Their hospitality is amazing and we arrived to a warm welcome and a delicious warm moussaka and other local produce to keep us going. The villa is amazing, the pool was great, the amenities are first class. If you want peace and tranquility but a short drive from local amenities then I can’t recommend this place enough. We have never been so well looked after! The nature is wonderful and we enjoyed seeing the beautiful sunrise. We walked a little way up the hill and came across the local goats being herded down the hill - what a lovely thing for the kids to see - especially the baby goats! We hope to return to Villa Elena for much longer very soon! Thank you Maria & Sifis you do a wonderful job!

Home made traditional cuisine and treats delivered or in the oven waiting. Gorgeous villa set inside of an Olive Grove with amazing sea views while relaxing in your amazing pool......what’s not to love!!!! Amazing hosts and a great location to all of Western Crete’s beaches.

We loved our stay at the villa. The setting and views were amazing, and the house had everything we needed. The hosts were really hospitable too - bringing us an amazing Moussaka and Greek salad on our first day, which was perfect after our day of travelling. There was also things like milk, eggs, bread etc on our arrival - a lovely touch to set you up. As the villa is high on the hill, it is very exposed to the strong winds though - which on some days were extremely blustery and chilled the pool making it too cold to use (even in August!) - but we just went to the beach on those days, or a hotel pool in Kissamos, where is was more sheltered. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Our stay at villa Elena was beyond words. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation thanks to Maria and Sifis. They were extremely nice and available at any moment. If you're looking for a quite place in nature while having all the comfort, this villa is for you.
